Sandwich Emporium
The Sandwich Emporium opened for business over the 2018-2019 summer as a three month popup store. They offered fresh smoked meat sandwiches of the highest quality out of a quirky shop at the southern end of Cuba Street.
We began working with them not long after the idea was conceived. They wanted assistance with their branding and social media strategy & execution. We began with the brand identity of the Sandwich Emporium and advised that due to the shop location, a playful, rustic identity would be best suited.

As both Massey University and Wellington Highschool were just around the corner and these would become key target markets. This led to a logo design with sharp, bold colours and a shop fit out that was very tattoo parlour esque; ideal for a young, Wellington based market.
The next step was building and maintaining social media pages to communicate clearly the shop’s identity and keep followers up to date. This was achieved via Facebook, Instagram, and Google My Business. The strategy was to hone in on both the shop’s aesthetic, and the high quality products sold in store.
We managed to obtain just shy of 300 followers organically on both the Instagram & Facebook pages by using well timed, engaging and relevant posts. And, well over 2000 views of the Google My Business listing (as well as a five-star rating).
