Pastel Embassy
We began working with record label & promoters, Pastel Embassy, at the beginning of 2018. They got in touch with us for some assistance with their first international promotion gig.
They specifically required assistance with both defining the target market, and marketing towards it. During the first consultation we covered the potential markets, where they could be accessed, and their potential size. We discovered that universities had the highest concentrations of people that were interested and engaged with the specific style of music.
“We originally called Bespoke Marketing in to help us promote our second international act in April (2018)… …they were great to work with and really helped us gain an in depth understanding of who we should be marketing towards, and how to go about it”

We then went about devising a list of marketing actions and the times & places at which they would occur. These included: poster drops at university halls, poster drops via Phantom Billboards, paid Facebook promotion of the event, hiring relevant and talked about pre-acts, and many other forms.
The gig went off without a hitch and ended up selling out (500+ tickets), you could say that the team at Pastel Embassy were more than thrilled with the results. We even stayed in touch and helped them out with their second gig, although they didn’t require nearly as much help the second time round.
This is what Director Brendon had to say about Pastel Embassy’s experience working with us; “We originally called Bespoke Marketing in to help us promote our second international act in April (2018), Uno the Activist. They were great to work with and really helped us gain an in depth understanding of who we should be marketing towards, and how to go about it. The gig ended up being a massive success as we packed out Meow (Wellington venue). We then had Warhol.SS over in August (2018), where Bespoke helped out again. This time we had two successful shows in both Auckland, and Wellington.”
